Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level construction helper to assist skilled workers on construction sites in Abilene, TX. You will help set up tasks, follow directions from superintendents and foremen, and prioritize safety in every duty.

You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, climb and maneuver at heights, and use hand and power tools safely. This role may require overtime, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read and follow written and oral instructions and communicate clearly with supervisors.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
