Job summary

Palmetto Site Construction is seeking a reliable Laborer to join our Field Operations team for full-time, on-site work in Abbeville, SC. This hands-on role supports underground utility and sitework projects, with opportunities for growth.

You will assist with pipe laying, operate hand tools, and help maintain a safe, efficient job site while contributing to a team that gets the job done right. Bonuses are available based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years general labor or construction site experience.
• Comfortable working in trenches and confined areas.
• Physically able for extended periods with shovel work.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pipe laying by handling and installing materials in ditches
• Use shovels and hand tools to support excavation, grading, and backfilling
• Grout storm drain boxes and help with other utility installation tasks
• Clean and grease heavy equipment as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized job site
• Follow directions from crew leaders and support the team in all aspects of the job
