About the Role

At Techcyte, we are building SaaS solutions for microscopy testing using artificial intelligence (AI), including computer vision and deep machine learning. Lab Techs are a critical part of our day-to-day operation in our lab and assist engineering & product management with laboratory support to develop world-class machine-learning products for medical, environmental, and veterinary markets.

The laboratory is located in Salisbury, NC, and we are looking for a motivated, flexible individual to join our team. This part-time position requires approximately 20–28 hours per week, with a preferred schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to at least 1:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples from clients and perform data entry tasks
• Prepare biological samples onto microscope slides
• Digitize microscope slides with various whole slide scanners
• Configure scanners and software to perform optimally

Salary: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE
