Job summary

Pangea Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist with specimen processing and test performance while adhering to all regulatory guidelines. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety policies in a Biotech/Life Sciences setting.

Candidates should have a science degree and at least 1 year of research experience, with proficiency in documentation, data entry, and basic laboratory procedures. Weekend/overtime may be required based on workflow needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a relevant scientific field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in research in the biotech/life science industry, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

Process and accession specimens per SOP.
Document laboratory data using information management systems and verify information.
Identify and troubleshoot issues; follow procedures for safe handling of specimens and reagents.
Coordinate shipping of materials to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain records with good documentation practices and adapt to process changes.
