Job summary

Certerra Analytical – AJ Edmond in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support its solid fuels laboratory. The role involves preparing and analyzing materials to evaluate physical and chemical properties while upholding safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include sample preparation, instrument operation, and strict adherence to safety, reporting, and QA policies. This is a full-time, on-site position in Long Beach with weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Laboratory experience in a school setting is a plus.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or written.

Job Summary

The core function of the company is to provide independent sampling and analytical services for industries such as petroleum refining, energy plants, and aluminum production. The role of the Laboratory Technician is to prepare and analyze materials for various physical and chemical properties while maintaining best practices for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties
