Job summary

ALS in Kansas City seeks a Laboratory Technician to perform tests and maintain quality in a fast-paced production environment. You will follow SOPs, calibrate instruments, log data, and ensure safe, compliant operations to support our testing activities.

Qualifications

• Performing laboratory tests as outlined by SOPs.
• Performing calibrations, standardization and SPC tests.
• Routine maintenance of testing instrumentation.
• Accurate data recording and paperwork for tests.
• Maintaining clean, safe work area.
• Complying with quality policies and ISO 17025.

Responsibilities

• Performing laboratory tests as outlined by the SOPs.
• Performing all scheduled calibrations, standardization and SPC tests.
• Routine maintenance of testing instrumentation.
• Properly completing all paperwork used to track tests and their validity.
• Loading data for tests performed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
• Routing samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.
• Storing and disposing of samples properly.
• Complying with local and corporate quality assurance policies, incl. ISO 17025.
