MONDAY - FRIDAY - SOME SATURDAYS

5:00 PM - 2:00 AM (HOURS MAY VARY)

Minimum Qualifications: At least 2 years of college in a science-related or clinical field, or equivalent work experience. Understanding of Food Safety is required.

Additional Requirements: Must qualify for the company driver’s program.

Job Summary: Performs daily lab duties and assists Lab Tech II and III with projects and routine analyses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

1. Bacteriological media preparation.
2. Cleaning and organizing lab glassware and plasticware.
3. Sample collection and preparation for analyses.
4. Performing microbiology and chemistry analyses under supervision.
5. Following directions from senior management.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: 2+ years in a related field or equivalent work experience.

• Other Skills: English literacy, computer skills.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, and see color.

Work Environment: Exposure to chemicals, humid conditions, moving parts, fumes, cold, electrical risks, and moderate noise.
