ECS Limited is hiring a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Technician to join our Pittsburgh team. No experience is required; you will learn under experienced staff while performing concrete and soils tests in our labs.

We offer growth opportunities, with training and certification support as you progress. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required, with on-site work across our labs.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain laboratory certifications for concrete or soils.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on construction materials under supervision.
• Maintain QA/QC compliance and calibration of equipment.
• Conduct soils testing including Atterberg limits, gradation, moisture, and strength tests.
• Perform concrete testing including sample labeling, curing, and temperature logs.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and document results accurately.
• May perform field testing as needed.
