Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Technician Assistant to support specimen collection and basic lab procedures. You will greet patients, inform them of procedures, answer phones and emails, and maintain records while assisting with clerical tasks to ensure smooth workflow.

The role focuses on accurate labeling, specimen preparation, and data entry, with a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork within a hospital laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification by ASCP and/or NCA highly desired.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience in hospital laboratory preferred.
• MINIMUM 8-10 sticks per hour.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Laboratory Assistant receives and processes specimens and carries out basic laboratory procedures. Additionally, there are required clerical tasks such as greeting patients, informing them of the procedures, answering phones and emails, and maintaining records.
