Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands on laboratory experience.

• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation maintenance and calibration.

Responsibilities

The Laboratory Chemist/Analyst develops and maintains laboratory procedures, conducts quality control and environmental sampling, verifies field sampling results, and ensures the accuracy and operability of laboratory instruments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting analytical procedures and equipment, maintaining laboratory housekeeping, supporting sample storage, packaging and shipping, stockroom and sampling services, and participating in daily operations meetings focused on safety, environmental compliance, quality, and key performance metrics. The role also promotes a strong safety culture through participation in inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions, while adhering to laboratory safety programs, emergency response procedures, and chemical hygiene standards.
