Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provides skilled technical assistance in a research laboratory.
- Performs blood processing aseptically for the manufacture of Reagent Red Blood Cells.
- Records results accurately on batch records according to documented procedures and GMPs.
- Operates equipment such as Cobe Cell Processors and spectrophotometers.
- Performs all manufacturing processes in accordance with GMPs, SOPs, QATs, safety rules, and production schedules.
- Analyzes test data and completes required documentation under supervision following SOPs and test designs.
- Communicates effectively and is computer literate.
- Maintains accountability for work performed, impacting quality and on-time product delivery.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Immunohematology.
- Good knowledge of Math and Metric System.
- Thorough knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Understanding of Departmental and Company Policies.
- Minimum 3 months of formulation/laboratory experience.
- Position governed by external regulatory requirements (GMP/ISO).
- Minimum AAS Degree in Science or equivalent.
- Physical and work condition demands of the position.
