Job description

HR MGMT 10, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory operations through accurate sample intake, routine testing, and adherence to quality and compliance standards. This role is responsible for conducting microbiological and analytical testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing materials, supporting validation and stability studies, and performing analytical testing using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating HPLC instrumentation, thrive in a structured laboratory environment, and consistently ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all testing and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laboratory Operations & Sample Testing
  • Receive, log, and track incoming samples including raw materials, in-process, finished products, and peptide samples.
  • Perform routine microbiological and analytical testing, including pH, moisture content, water analysis, FTIR, and HPLC analysis.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC instrumentation while accurately documenting analytical results.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory media, cultures, reagents, and testing materials.
  • Record and document all testing data accurately in accordance with GLP, GDP, and cGMP standards.
  • Identify and escalate out-of-specification (OOS) results to the Lab Director.
Equipment & Calibration
  • Perform routine calibration and verification of laboratory equipment (e.g., analytical balances, pipettes, pH meters, and HPLC systems).
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain organized and accurate technical records for all equipment, calibrations, and testing.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support investigations, deviations, and implementation of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Ensure compliance with FDA guidelines and laboratory best practices.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and reporting.
Validation & Stability Support
  • Assist in cleaning validation through swab testing and environmental monitoring.
  • Support stability studies for finished products under supervision.
  • Participate in validation of production and laboratory cleaning processes.
  • Assist with analytical method verification and HPLC testing as required.
Laboratory Maintenance & Inventory
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
  • Properly dispose of biohazard and chemical waste.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering laboratory supplies and consumables.
  • Organize and maintain laboratory records and materials.
Third-Party Lab Coordination
  • Prepare and submit samples to external laboratories.
  • Manage chain of custody documentation and coordinate sample pickups.
  • Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and document results.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of laboratory experience; OR
  • Degree in a scientific field with at least two laboratory-based courses.
  • Required: Previous hands-on experience operating HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) instrumentation in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience working in a regulated laboratory following GLP, GDP, and cGMP guidelines is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using HPLC and interpreting analytical data is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, regulations, and structured processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory safety, compliance, and testing procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Laboratory setting with exposure to chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particles.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Noise levels may vary and can be moderate to loud.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to maintain focus and produce accurate work consistently.
