An established industry player in biotechnology is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic team in Millsboro, DE. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment focused on producing high-quality vaccines for animals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to flexible shift schedules. You will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, performing aseptic procedures, and assisting in training new team members. Location: Millsboro, DE
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Shift: Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet manufacturing demands, including overtime, holidays, and weekends. Shift hours will rotate throughout the month as needed:
On average, the worker will work 2 different adjacent shifts each week. Must be flexible.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 USD hourly on W2
Our Manufacturing Operations teams are responsible for producing our products with a focus on safety and quality, striving for continuous improvement. Located in Millsboro, DE, our Biotechnology Center of Excellence manufactures, fills, packages, and distributes vaccines for animals, including mammalian, insect, and avian cell culture production, live bird vaccine production, embryonated egg vaccine production, roller bottle vaccine production, bioreactor vaccine production, and downstream processing.
Following Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures, and adhering to safety and company policies, duties include:
Minimum Education: High School diploma/GED with lab experience or Bachelor’s degree with lab experience
