Kelly is hiring a Lab Technician for one of our clients in Lima, OH. The role supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of lab and supply areas, equipment, and records.

Responsibilities include retrieving samples, QA tasks, temperature readings, basic wet chemistry, stocking shelves, preparing dilutions, and maintaining lab paperwork. Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Prior laboratory experience desired but not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieve samples from Sample Refrigerators for analysis.
• Perform Quality Assurance tasks, read and record temperatures, balance calibration verifications and safety assignments.
• Prepare samples and reagents, weigh samples, and perform basic Wet Chemistry tests as assigned.
• Stock lab shelves and prepare dilutions; maintain lab paperwork and logs.
• Wash lab glassware and stock lab supplies.

• Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm
• PPE will be supplied by Eurofins
• This is a temporary only position, no possibility of temp to hire.

Job Description

Summary: The main function of a lab technician is to support laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies. The typical lab technician is expected to use general lab methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with quality assurance programs and standard operating procedures.

Job Responsibilities: Retrieve samples from Sample Refrigerators for analysis. Perform Quality Assurance assignments, reading and recording temperatures, balance calibration verifications and safety assignments. Perform sample preparation including but not limited to: aliquot samples, spike and trace samples, prepare reagents, prepare sample bottles, stock shelves, prepare dilutions, weigh samples and perform basic Wet Chemistry tests as assigned. Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled. Prepare general lab paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and lab logbooks. Wash lab glassware to prepare for next day's samples. stock lab supplies.

Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic knowledge of the information and techniques for lab testing. Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required. Prior laboratory experience desired but not mandatory.
