Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for a long-term contract in Fort Wayne, IN. The role operates on a 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM shift with weekend coverage, focusing on monitoring, testing, and maintaining pretreatment and e-coat systems to ensure product quality and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities include performing titrations, routine chemical testing, data logging, equipment calibration, and inventory tracking in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant laboratory or technical support experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical work instructions and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, perform repetitive physical tasks, and wear PPE in a manufacturing environment.
