Job summary

PSC Group is seeking entry-level Chemical Plant Laboratory Technicians to support plant operations with precise lab tests and career growth opportunities. The role offers strong benefits, a matching 401(k), and pathways to advance within a booming industry.

Work involves 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights/weekends/holidays) and adherence to safety regulations. Fluency in English and a focus on accuracy are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided; experience is a plus.
• May require a valid driver’s license or TWIC card.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must pass drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must wear PPE and pass medical exams.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
• On-site attendance and punctuality required.
• Past military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing per standard methods.
• Sets up testing, operates and maintains equipment.
• Ensures quality through ISO 9001 and QA systems.
• Interprets results using knowledge of plant processes.
• Follows non-conforming work SOPs and corrective actions.
• Adheres to OSHA, EPA, and lab safety rules.

Laboratory Technician

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs testing as per standard methods and procedures
• Sets up testing, operates and maintains equipment
• Demonstrates integrity while performing testing with accuracy and precision
• Assures quality through company quality management systems and ISO 9001
• Understands plant processes and uses knowledge and data to interpret results
• Adheres to non-conforming work SOPs and makes sound judgement through corrective actions
• Understands OSHA, EPA, and federal regulations regarding laboratory safety and waste management
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job

Job Qualifications:

• Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available
• May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
