Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Schaumburg, IL seeks a Lab Support Technician for a Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule. The role offers a pay range of $17.20 to $25.24 per hour with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits starting Day 1 for full-time staff.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, processing, labeling, documentation, QC, and supporting training and inventory. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required and preferred is one year of hospital or lab

Qualifications

• Preferred Work Experience: Prefer one year experience in a hospital or laboratory setting.
• Physical and Mental Requirements: Routinely lift 25 pounds, sitting, standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Complies with OSHA and MACL policies and procedures.
• Organizes, plans, and performs multiple tasks to meet objectives.
• Adheres to specimen collection and processing requirements.
• Performs labeling, processing, documentation, and QC as trained.
• Assists with training of new associates and inventory management.
