Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Per Diem Specimen Processor for our team in Raritan, NJ. Shifts are 9pm–3am, Wednesday–Friday, up to 20 hours per week. You will prepare specimens, route and label them, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining production goals.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ months of specimen processing or medical/lab experience preferred. Overtime and shift flexibility may be required.

• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.

Labcorp is seeking a Per Diem Specimen Processor to join our team at Raritan, NJ.

Work Schedule: This is a per diem position between the hours of 9pm-3am, Wednesday - Friday (up to 20/hrs. per week)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience

• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills

• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Pay Range: $17.75-$20/hr. + Shift Differential

All job offers will bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.
