Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor for Henry Ford St. John in Detroit, MI. Role involves night shift with a 10:30PM-7:00AM schedule, handling specimens and documenting data in a high-volume production setting.

Minimum HS diploma; preferred 6+ months in medical/production, strong data entry and teamwork skills, and ability to lift up to 40lbs. Benefits described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team at Henry Ford St. John in Detroit, MI.

Work Schedule: 10:30PM-7:00AM will work 2 days week one and 3 days week as well as every other weekend

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
