Job summary

Tenaris in Blytheville, AR seeks a Laboratory Shift Leader to oversee daily lab operations in the Hickman Testing Laboratory within the QUALITY department. You will supervise staff, coordinate resources, and ensure safe, compliant testing aligned with quality standards.

Responsibilities include prioritizing workload, driving continuous improvement, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and coaching personnel to uphold safety, productivity, and reliability in a high‑performance manufacturing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with QMS; 3+ years in materials testing lab.
• Experience managing external suppliers, PRs and POs.
• Familiarity with API, ASTM, ISO, NACE, and CSA standards.
• Proficient with MS Office and networked computer systems.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily laboratory operations and coordinates personnel schedules and resources.
• Ensures testing is performed per standards, procedures, customer requirements, and quality standards.
• Prioritizes and organizes workload to meet production and operational demands.
• Monitors lab activities for quality, safety, and adherence to procedures; develops work instructions.
• Coordinates with Operations, Quality, Metallurgy, Maintenance, and Process Technology to support production objectives and resolve issues.
• Leads, coaches, trains, and develops laboratory personnel with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
• Supports continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, productivity, and reliability.
• Monitors indicators like productivity, utilization, and interruptions; optimizes performance and inspection plans.
• Complies with HSE procedures; reports incidents, conducts inspections, and supports investigations.
