Job summary

Eurofins USA Genomic Services in River Falls, WI is seeking a part-time SST Associate Scientist I to support laboratory operations. You will assist SST Lab personnel, ensure data quality, and follow work instructions to maintain accuracy and timely results.

Responsibilities include sample analysis, documenting results, maintaining equipment, communicating inventory needs, and seeking process improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS degree recommended with an aptitude for science.
• Certification by the Society of Commercial Seed Technologists is recommended.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist SST Laboratory personnel in general lab duties and ensure quality data in a timely fashion.
• Perform sample analysis and document results.
• Participate in lab and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate inventory needs and report issues to the manager.
• Propose process improvements for technical area and for planting/evaluation.
