Laboratory Research Intern
New Haven, CT (100% On‑Site). You must have your own housing within a commutable distance of New Haven, CT.
Early June – Mid August 2026
At least $20.00 per hour
Our Corporate Partner is a well‑funded, high‑growth biotechnology startup established in 2025. The organization was founded by a former Chief Scientific Officer and R&D President of a global pharmaceutical leader alongside a distinguished Professor. Based in the New Haven, CT life sciences hub, the company is led by a veteran executive team with deep experience delivering novel therapeutics in both immunology and oncology.
The company is advancing the next generation of proximity‑induced therapeutics based on molecular glues. By combining proprietary DNA‑encoded libraries, structurally enabled drug design, and sophisticated medicinal chemistry, they are developing a powerful new modality to target "undruggable" proteins. This science aims to overcome the efficacy and selectivity challenges associated with currently available treatment options.
Our Corporate Partner is seeking a motivated, hands‑on Laboratory Research Intern to take part in and support primary laboratory operations. This role is designed for a student eager to master the essential technical foundations of drug discovery while seeing firsthand how a biotech company is built from the laboratory up. The intern will gain a 360‑degree view of the drug discovery process, working directly with senior scientists to support early‑stage R&D strategy.
NOTE: To be considered as a candidate, you MUST be a Pell Grant recipient for the current school year.
