Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma - Required.
• Four to six weeks orientation and training period to become competent.
• BLS and CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Verify labeling and specimen integrity with documentation; log into Meditech.
• Perform waived testing and enter results into EMR; document quality control.
• Perform phlebotomy for outpatients as needed.
• Enter patient data to ensure correct identification, processing, and billing; resolve missing information promptly.
• Answer phones and assist physicians and clients; deliver reports and requisitions.
