Job Title: Phlebotomist.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Phlebotomist to join our diagnostic laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a comfortable patient experience while collecting high-quality blood specimens across all age groups (neonates through geriatrics) to support accurate provider diagnoses and patient treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specimen Collection: Perform precise, high-skill venipunctures and capillary draws with minimal patient discomfort across diverse patient populations (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
• Patient Identification & Labeling: Positively identify patients and accurately label all clinical specimens in strict accordance with safety policies and laboratory identification protocols.
• Laboratory Information System: Use computer systems to register, accession, and process specimens accurately.
• Clinical Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise regarding various needles, anticoagulants, specimen handling, order of draw, and specific test preparation requirements.
• Patient & Operational Support: Greet patients in a professional manner, answer phone inquiries, assist with specimen processing, and support inventory stocking and supply management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Clinical Experience: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated phlebotomy experience [Required].
• Population Experience: Demonstrated proficiency collecting specimens across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations [Required].
