Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is hiring a full-time laboratory support role in New York. The position focuses on maintaining supplies, safe handling of gases, and ensuring GDP-compliant documentation across multiple sites.

The candidate should have a Life Sciences degree, be able to lift 25 lbs, commute between sites, and learn new processes while following cGMP guidelines. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting objects of 25 lbs or more, walking and standing for extended periods, and moving carts and equipment.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Ability to independently commute between different site locations.
• Ability to learn new processes, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with policies.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining laboratory supplies and reagents inventory

• Cleaning and monitoring of temperature units, fume hoods, and biosafety cabinets
• Use of electronic management systems for maintenance and calibration tracking
• Coordinate workflows between teams/departments
• Maintain paper lab notebooks and logs
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Assist in equipment maintenance and calibrations
• Overtime and weekend availability as required
• Lab spaces cleaned and labeled per procedures
• Complete safety and procedural trainings and retrainings
• Work across multiple lab areas handling potent chemicals
• Support laboratories located on multiple sites

Job Description

• Maintaining laboratory supplies, reagents inventory, and preparation of media
• Safe handling and movement of compressed gases and/or cryogenic liquids.
• Cleaning and monitoring of controlled temperature units, fume hoods, and biological safety cabinets (BSC)
• Use of electronic management and tracking systems for monitoring and documenting routine maintenance and calibration status of laboratory equipment.
• Use of electronic systems to initiate and coordinate workflows between multiple teams/departments
• Management of paper lab notebook and logbook requests, updates, and reconciliation
• Completion of all work and documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Assists in coordination and execution of reoccurring equipment maintenance and calibrations.
• Participates in overtime and weekend schedule as required.
• Cleaning, organization, and labeling of lab spaces in accordance with effective procedures.
• Complete all safety and procedural trainings and re-trainings.
• Complete tasks listed above in laboratory areas that handle potent chemical compounds.
• Support of laboratory area located on multiple sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet physical demands including, but not limited to, routinely lifting objects of 25 lbs. or more, walking and standing for extended periods of time, pushing or pulling carts and equipment and bending down or reaching for supplies.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Ability to independently commute between different site locations.
• Ability to learn new processes, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Pay range: $22.50 - $23.50 / hour
