Job summary

The role focuses on aligning scientific activities with practical, day-to-day management across university partners, industry collaborators, and national networks.

The position requires strong leadership, SOP development, procurement, and compliance experience, with an anticipated salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 commensurate with education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Laboratory Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience coordinating complex technical operations with multiple personnel and stakeholders.
• Ability to develop SOPs, schedules, and training processes.
• Knowledge of lab safety, risk management, procurement, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily facility operations including readiness, staffing, access, scheduling, and user support.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for onboarding, experiments, training, platform access, technical assistance, and project closeout.
• Coordinate laboratory capacity and schedules across internal researchers, collaborators, and partners.
• Lead safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities.
