Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a Laboratory Associate to support scientific staff in experiments and data tasks for product release. You will execute protocols, generate data summaries, and help with GMP release testing under supervision.

The role emphasizes GLP compliance, equipment operation, and maintaining lab daily operations while contributing to quality record resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in a scientific discipline.
• 1–3 years related experience in a scientific discipline.
• Experience following GLP and GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support scientific staff with experiments or activities for release-related challenges (e.g., nonconformance investigations).
• Under guidance, execute protocols and generate data summaries using data analysis tools.
• Occasionally perform testing for GMP release of product.
• Operate laboratory equipment to generate timely, reliable data.
• Maintain daily lab operations (equipment maintenance, cleaning, supplies).
• Maintain working knowledge of assays, technology, and instrumentation.
• Support efforts to resolve quality records and drive continuous improvement.
