Qualifications

Responsibilities

• No phlebotomy duties required.
• Flexibility for weekends/holidays; approx. 2 weekends per month.
• Dress code includes provided lab coats.

Description:The position is for an evening shift Medical Technologist (Generalist).The schedule is Monday to Friday with variable weekends, approximately 2 weekends per month.Candidates will be required to perform tests in Chemistry and Hematology.Certification by ASCP is required for this role.Experience in handling laboratory information systems such as Meditech is preferred.Previous experience using equipment such as Abbott Alinity, Variant, Beckman Coulter DXL Access, Sysmex XN1000, and Siemens CS2500 is essential.Strong generalist skills are necessary as no phlebotomy is required for this position.Flexibility is required as weekend and holiday shifts will be part of the schedule.Dress code includes lab coats, which are provided by the facility.No additional certifications are needed aside from those listed.The facility reserves the right to cancel shifts as needed.
