Job summary

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Laboratory Manager for our manufacturing client in Greenfield, IN. The role oversees daily lab operations, coordinates testing across soils, rocks, and construction materials, and ensures compliance with ASTM and AASHTO standards.

You will mentor staff and collaborate with engineers and field teams to drive quality and safety. The position offers a direct hire opportunity with compensation up to $30/hour DOE and comprehensive benefits through the client.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Geotechnical Engineering Technology, Construction Materials Testing, or related lab field.
• Hands-on experience with soil, rock, and construction materials testing.
• Strong understanding of ASTM and AASHTO testing standards and lab quality systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or soil logging software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily laboratory operations including scheduling and staff assignments.
• Perform advanced soil, rock, and construction materials testing.
• Ensure testing complies with ASTM and AASHTO standards.
• Analyze data and report results to engineers and project teams.
• Maintain lab records, equipment calibration, and sample custody.
• Support quality systems and participate in audits and corrective actions.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff.
• Promote safety and proper PPE usage.
