UOVUNIUSR0082659EXTERNALENUSJobs in this group are typically responsible for managing and operating laboratory facilities used for research, teaching, or to assist in the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of disease. They ensure equipment maintenance, adhere to safety protocols, and support quality control. These roles focus on performing a range of operational activities in support of laboratory testing, including managing lab equipment, ensuring proper safety protocols, and supporting research and experiments. Responsible for maintaining lab functionality and efficiency.

Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty. Typicallly involves diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients, and often include face-to-face interactions with patients. May also spend some time designing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills. Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through advanced education, training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care and/or scientific/laboratory technologist jobs.

Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelors Degree required. Masters or relevant Terminal degree preferred but may be required as specified.

Experience: 2+ years' professional experience required.

Licensure: Specified by position requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing, sitting for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping, reaching and repetitive motion. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The starting base rate for this role is $33.27 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
