The New York Genome Center is seeking a Laboratory Inventory Associate to support inventory management, receive and stock consumables, and coordinate with the Senior Manager, Production Lab. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and timely replenishment of lab supplies.
You will generate weekly inventory reports, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with EHS regulations while supporting monthly inventory accounting and cost control.
We are looking for a highly motivated, independent but team-oriented Laboratory Inventory Associate to join our existing and growing inventory management team. This position will support the Senior Manager, Production Lab with inventory management services, as well as other general support outlined, but not limited to, the duties listed below.
The pay range for this Director position is $55-65K per year; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The New York Genome Center is an independent, nonprofit, academic research organization dedicated to advancing genomic research. NYGC scientists and staff are furthering new approaches to diagnosing and treating neurological diseases and cancer through their unique capabilities in whole genome sequencing, RNA sequencing, state-of-the art analytics, and the development of genomic tools. NYGC concentrates specifically on disease-based research in the following areas: neuropsychiatric disease (autism, schizophrenia, bipolar); neurodegenerative disease (ALS, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's), and cancer.
Located in Lower Manhattan, NYGC was founded by and remains closely affiliated with twelve leading academic medical centers and research universities in the New York region and beyond, engaging in research projects with and for these institutions.
