Job summary

Sanford Health in Alexandria, MN is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to join the lab team at Alexandria Broadway Clinic. Shift: Day; Location: Alexandria, MN; Salary range: $16.00 - $25.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens, ensuring accuracy and quality of data in a safe, professional environment. Training provided: 4-6 weeks in-department phlebotomy training; weekends not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program; phlebotomy experience preferred.
• BLS certification may be required.

• Perform phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens.
• Assist in entering laboratory orders and results; ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a safe, professional work environment and proper specimen handling.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
