Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas seeks a team-oriented staff member to perform routine collection procedures and assist technologists across Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology.

You will process laboratory specimens, coordinate clerical and reception duties related to testing, and relay information between the laboratory, hospital areas, and clients to ensure accurate results and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology.
• Computer proficiency with Windows Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine collection procedures and process laboratory specimens.
• Assist technologists and technicians in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology.
• Relay information between the laboratory, hospital areas, and clients to support testing.
