Lee Health in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant I for the Lab - General on a part-time basis. The role involves specimen verification and processing, phlebotomy, and handling test samples across shifts.

Clerical duties include phone reception, reporting, and using the laboratory information system. High school diploma or GED and phlebotomy experience are required; licensure not required.

Shift: Shift 2/1:30:00 PM to 10:00:00 AM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.50 / hour

**$700 sign on for eligible candidates**

Summary

The Clinical Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for a variety of clinical and clerical functions to support the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Laboratory depending on the shift and facility location. Clinical duties include specimen verification and processing, phlebotomy, sample tracking including the cancellation and crediting of laboratory tests, and processing of send out testing. Clerical duties include phone reception, printing and distributing reports, operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and printers, in addition to basic computer skills in the Laboratory information system.
