Job description

Join to apply for the Laboratory Assistant I role at St. Croix Health.

St. Croix Health is seeking a full-time, 1.0 FTE Laboratory Assistant. Shifts are Monday - Friday, 12 PM - 8:30 PM, including rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting and labeling specimens accurately
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Ensuring specimen labeling compliance
• Maintaining safety and policy adherence
• Processing orders and specimens for testing
• Documenting in LIS and EMR systems
• Performing waived testing and EKGs
• Performing clerical duties and maintaining a clean work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Certified Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with phlebotomy training preferred
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred
