Actalent in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a bilingual Lab Assistant to perform phlebotomy, specimen handling, and patient intake, delivering a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, labeling, storage, and collaboration with clinical teams; must hold CA Phlebotomy License and be fluent in Spanish and English; on-site, contract to hire, 8am-6:30pm, five days a week.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Lab Assistant who is passionate about patient care and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has a current Phlebotomy Certificate, strong communication skills, and experience in a healthcare setting.

Position Summary

The Lab Assistant supports laboratory operations by performing phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, and patient intake activities while ensuring a positive patient experience and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Schedule

Full-time. On site, 5 days a week Monday-Friday. Must be avalaible for 8 hour shifts from 8am - 6:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
