Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in cold environments.
• Familiarity with basic lab practices a plus.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Slice tissue using specialized equipment in a controlled laboratory environment.
• Process and section tissue to ensure high-quality production for diagnostic applications.
• Maintain and clean sectioning equipment according to SOPs.
• Accurately document all processing and manufacturing activities.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns as needed.
• Assist with equipment setup, inventory control, and general lab organization.
• Follow all safety guidelines and promptly report hazards.
• Participate in department initiatives such as 6S, cycle counts, and continuous improvement projects.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support laboratory operations.
