Job summary

Providence Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA is seeking a Phlebotomy technician to perform and report waived and moderately complex laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology and microbiology. You will process specimens for clinical analysis and assist technologists in a fast-paced lab.

Full-time, 40 hours weekly with a variable shift. Requires HS Diploma or GED and Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification or Washington Medical Assistant Certification at hire.

Kadlec is offering a $4,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment.

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Phlebotomy (or Supervisor, Point of Care, or Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory) performs and reports waived and moderately complex laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology and microbiology; Processes specimens for clinical analysis, phlebotomy; Assists the technologists; Reacts to change productivity; and handles other tasks as assigned.

Ages of Patients: Infants to geriatrics.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED From an accredited educational institution.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Or
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a structured or accredited Clinical Assistant training program.
• 2 years Phlebotomist experience.
• 1 year Waived testing experience.
