SGS Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented lab assistant to support routine specimen processing and data recording in a compliance-driven environment. You will perform basic pipetting, handle equipment, and help ensure accurate documentation of results.

The role emphasizes safety, timely completion of trainings, and collaboration with team members. A High School Diploma and up to two years of lab experience are sufficient for entry. On-site position with standard lab hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic familiarity with MS Word and Excel is expected.

Responsabilités

• Operate basic specimen equipment.
• Execute experimental protocols per SOPs.
• Record data on forms and verify accuracy.
• Adhere to laboratory and biohazard safety procedures.
• Complete required trainings on time.
• Stock and monitor laboratory supplies.
• Suggest improvements during LEAN initiatives.
• Present concise updates to internal teams with guidance.

Job Responsibilities

• The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
• Operates basic specimen equipment
• Executes experimental protocols according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Records data on forms and reviews work for accuracy/completeness
• Adheres to all laboratory and biohazard safety procedures
• On-time completion of all required trainings
• Stocks &; monitors laboratory supplies
• Participates in LEAN initiatives and provides observations to improve lab workflow
• Delivers short presentations to internal group with assistance
