Responsibilities

• Venipuncture on outpatients and inpatients as assigned.
• Process send-over specimens and enter testing data into LIS.
• Assist with clerical duties when needed and answer phones.
• Pull and route orders; request orders from providers and file orders.
• Ensure patient or guardian signs required paperwork and ABN where applicable.
• Maintain equipment and clean blood drawing booths; wash glassware.
• Process specimens and perform send-out testing as needed.
