Job summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking a business analyst to own both strategic and tactical programs within its Production Planning Team. The role focuses on flexible workforce labor planning and scheduling, assisting capacity initiatives, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities include building labor planning models, analytics pipelines, and reporting solutions, plus collaborating with labor planners and leaders to optimize scheduling and capacity across the network.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvements using data.
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using metrics for improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic labor planning models and manage labor resources for the network.
  • Develop analytics and data pipelines for optimization and predictive insights.
  • Communicate capacity needs to Delivery Station Leaders and planners.
  • Collaborate with staffing partners to integrate labor planning and orders.
  • Partner with leaders to address escalations in labor scheduling.
  • Monitor metrics and identify process and system improvements.
  • Design and implement reporting to enable data-driven decisions.
