Responsibilities

• Assist on trucks and support timely loading and unloading.

Support the organization in its mission to help change lives through the power of work.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLoad, unload and move materials using hand truck or forklift, onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow of production cycle and to distribute donated goods.Place textiles into baler from hamper or cart; weigh bundles; transfer bundles to designated location, using hand truck or forklift; maintain production records.Ensure work areas and facilities remain clean and organized.Keep work area clean by sweeping, emptying trash cans and disposing of trash in appropriate containers.Maintain good housekeeping standards.Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures.Fills in as an assistant on trucks.Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions and/or concerns in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.Assist in safeguarding Goodwill team members and property from harm, damage or theft.
