Job summary

LHH, a national Labor & Employment litigation boutique, seeks an associate in Atlanta, GA with 3–8 years of strong litigation experience.

Candidates should be comfortable handling all phases of litigation—from drafting pleadings and discovery to depositions, motions, mediation, arbitration, and trial—and have experience with single-plaintiff employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-hour issues under FLSA and related laws.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of strong litigation experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, and arguing motions.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience handling single-plaintiff employment matters and wage/hour issues under FLSA.

Candidates should be comfortable managing all phases of litigation, including drafting, and responding to pleadings and discovery, drafting, and arguing motions, taking, and defending depositions, and preparing matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial.

Preference for candidates who have experience handling single-plaintiff employment matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, as well as wage and hour matters arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and related state laws.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
