Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 3rd – 5th year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our San Francisco office. Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal advice on matters concerning the employment relationship for national and international corporations.
  • Assist in structuring corporate transactions to maximize managerial flexibility and labor efficiency.
  • Support negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, labor arbitrations, and related labor relations activities.
  • Represent employers in wage and hour compliance, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, and employment agreements.
  • Work with clients across diverse industries and jurisdictions.
Qualifications
  • Experience representing employers on both class and individual wage and hour compliance and other labor and employment issues.
  • Solid academic performance in law school; strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills; attention to detail; initiative to own work and career.
  • Bar admission in good standing with the CA State Bar.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $260,000 to $365,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance (with optional HSA), disability, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and employee assistance programs. Additional voluntary programs may include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit programs may be available in certain markets.
