Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Registered Nurse for full-time third shift in the Labor and Delivery unit. You will support obstetric care, assist with deliveries, and help ensure newborn safety. The role involves cross-coverage across Women’s Health and neonatal care, with adherence to safety and privacy standards.

Requires RN license, BLS/NRP certification, and additional certifications as listed. Strong teamwork and patient-centered care are essential for this high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NRP Certification required; BLS with 30 days to obtain if not held.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia training as department requires.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and pass instruments.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and newborn care as needed.
• Support in Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Well-Baby, and Level II Nursery areas.
