Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery during a 14-weekTravel assignment. The role requires at least 2 years of recent L&D experience and proficiency circulating in the OR, with VA RN licensure and ACLS/BLS/NRP preferred.

The position offers day shifts (First) with on-site work, competitive pay of $80 per hour, and opportunities to grow within Sentara Health’s large network of hospitals and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of recent Labor & Deliver (L&D) experience.
• Current Virginia RN license to practice.
• ACLS, BLS and NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients and perform initial assessments.
• Provide medications, rounds and patient/family teaching.
• Monitor patient status and coordinate care with the team in Labor & Delivery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for circulating in the OR.
