Job summary

Texas Health Ft. Worth is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery. The Women’s Center is MAGNET-designated and Offers high‑level maternal care with a strong leadership team.

The role requires an RN license, at least 1 year of RN experience, and L&D experience is preferred. BCLS and ACLS within 90 days, NRP and NRPA required, with CPI training annually. Nights, weekends, and some call are required.

Qualifications

  • One year of RN experience required; Labor & Delivery RN experience strongly preferred.
  • BCLS required; ACLS due within 90 days of hire.
  • NRP and NRPA-Advanced NRP within 90 days is required.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training maintained annually.
  • Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
  • Assesses the patient and plans care.
  • Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates intervention outcomes.
  • Maintains age-appropriate safety and infection control in patient care.
  • Initiates information for patients and families as needed.
  • Ensures continuity of patient care across shifts and during transfers.
