Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. The RN will provide holistic patient care, assess needs, and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement plans.

The role requires flexible, compassionate nursing delivery and strong communication with patients and families. Qualifications include current Oklahoma RN licensure, ADN preferred with BSN, and certifications (BLS, ALS/NRP within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Oklahoma.
• ALS and NRP required within 6 months of hiring.
• Basic Fetal Heart Monitoring Program (ED:FETALM) completion before orientation (usually 90 days).
• Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Program within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as RN in Labor & Delivery.
• Assess nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care and discharge planning.
• Conduct hourly rounds to enhance safety and patient comfort.
• Collaborate with patient/family and care partners to meet educational and emotional needs.
