Sierra Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit. This full-time role focuses on caring for pregnant patients during labor, intrapartum, and postpartum recovery with continuous monitoring and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate. NRP, STABLE within 6 mo. of hire
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• ACLS (or obtained within six months of employment).
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for labor and delivery patients.
• Demonstrates leadership and supports the healthcare team.
• Educates patients and families and coordinates care plans.
• Delivers care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
