Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications include GA RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL), BCLS, and preferred Bachelor’s degree. New graduates welcome; hospital experience preferred; additional certifications per unit may be required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred.
• RN - Georgia Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License is Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
• ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP certifications as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients.
• Work within organizational policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
